My name is Aimee Nester. I started taking early childhood classes in 1996, shortly after my daughter was
born. After working in accredited child care centers for about 4 years, I found I had a natural gift with children.
My goal is to help children become self competent and confident. I work to provide stimulating and relevant
activities which will prepare them for their next phases of development.
I utilize the “Beanstalk” USDA food program, which means that children will receive well balanced
meals and snacks; A hot lunch and two snacks every day which must include the major food groups essential to growing healthy
minds and bodies.
I also work through Child Action Inc. with a mentor who has been in this field for 20+ years. I attend Child
Action sponsored classes, as well as early childhood education classes through Sacramento City College.
Currently I have over 40 Early Childhood units and am working toward a BA in Child Development.
