Conditions for return depend upon severity of symptom

Provider may require a note from your child's pediatrician or health care professional stating the condition of child and when the child can return to care.

In all cases children must be free from fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and any other symptom they have been excluded for for a full 24 hours before they will be permitted to return to care.

The state of California forbids any child with suspected illness to attend the program. Parents are asked to excercise good judgement and keep children home while ill, seeking medical treatment as necessary.

Provider understands that children can and do become ill frequently and cannot stress enough, the importance of a back-up provider in the event of illness.

Aside from illnesses that children can spread, provider will also exclude if a child is not well enough for any reason to participate in our program. We do not have the staff for one on one supervision.

Provider will request that parents sign paperwork acknowledging they are required to pick up an ill child within 90 minutes of provider personally contacting them due to child's illness. In the event that the parent cannot be reached parent is requried to have an emergency pick up person and current contact information.

Provider reserves the final decision to exclude a child from care at this facility
